SWCD extends tree seedling deadline

Van Wert SWCD information

The Van Wert Soil and Water Conservation District has extended its deadline to order tree seedlings until Friday, March 28.

Species available include American arborvitae, Austrian pine, Colorado blue spruce, eastern red cedar, eastern white pine, Norway spruce, arrowwood, bald cypress, black chokeberry, common lilac, forsythia, pin oak, red maple, sawtooth oak, and sweet gum.

Wildflower seed packets are available also. One assorted homeowner packet is available that includes black chokeberry, common lilac, pin oak, arrowwood, and forsythia.  Each of the packets contains 10 seedlings.
