Good Friday Breakfast speaker named

YMCA of Van Wert County information

The YMCA of Van Wert County is hosting its annual Good Friday Prayer Breakfast on Friday, April 18, at 7 a.m. at Willow Bend Country Club. This year’s speaker is Dr. Jeff Easley.

Dr. Easley has lived in Van Wert since 1990, along with his wife of 27 years, Michelle. They have raised five children, Sarah, Heather, Brian, Eric and Sam. Dr. Easley is a family physician and a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and serves as a high school youth group leader.

During the breakfast, Dr. Easley will share the story of his involvement in charitable missionary work, from the perspective of a student, father and physician. His presentation, “A Missionary! — Who Me?” is a recollection of ordinary events made extraordinary by the love and faithfulness of God to teach, guide, strengthen and prepare us for the “mission” He has for us.

All are welcome and tickets can be purchased at the YMCA of Van Wert County for $7.50 each.
