4-H club elects officers

A celebration of the 100th year of 4-H in Van Wert County opened recently for the Harrison Jolly Booster 4-H Club with election of officers and document housekeeping. Officers elected included Travis Lichtensteiger, president; Mycah Grandstaff, vice president; Tiffany and Hannah Weaver, co-treasurers; Leah Lichtensteiger, secretary; Emily Barricklow, reporter; Emily Brower, historian; Anna and Matt Lautzenheiser, Dylan Barricklow, Rayana Thatcher and Braxton Williamson, health and safety officers. At the March 16 meeting, Dylan Barricklow conducted a demonstration on showing rabbits. The next meeting will be held April 13 at the Harrison Township House in Middlebury. (photo submitted)
