CHP Beacon of Hope fundraiser sold out

Community Health Professionals annual Hospice “Beacon of Hope” dinner/auction at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 3, at Willow Bend Country Club has sold out.

With about two weeks remaining, all seats for the dinner are filled. Those wanting to support the event may make a tax-deductible donation to CHP Hospice.

The family of Glenn D. Gehres will present a decorative lighthouse in memory of Glenn, who received care for several years from CHP’s visiting nurses program before passing last September at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center at the age of 54.

Submit donations in person or by mail to 1159 Westwood Drive in Van Wert or through the CHP website. Donors will be recognized in the program if the donation is received by Monday, March 31.

Raffle tickets for $500, $250 and $100 are also available. Drawings will be held at the event and attendance is not required to win.
