Jennifer April Short

Jennifer April Short, 35, died at 7:14 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born March 21, 1979, in Van Wert, the daughter of Mary E. (Martin) Short, who survives in Van Wert, and the late Roger D. Short.

Other survivors include a son, Alan J. “AJ” Short of Van Wert; one daughter, Elizabeth R. Short of Van Wert; and one sister, Lori (Cory) Bryan of Van Wert.

Her maternal grandparents, Leo G. and Zita M. Martin; and her paternal grandparents, Elmer E. and Florence Irene Short, also preceded her in death.

Jennifer was a homemaker and attended Trinity United Methodist Church in Van Wert.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday, April 7, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Scott Campbell officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Taylor Cemetery in rural Van Wert County.

Calling hours are from 2-4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
