Knights return from Disney
By Jamie Moore
The Knight Vision and jazz band come back from Disney on Thursday of last week. They arrived at the school around 4:15 p.m. and came in with big smiles on their faces and carrying their instruments and outfits from their shows. Most of the students liked that they got to walk around and enjoy the rides and visit the princesses and characters from Disney movies.
“My favorite part of Disney was seeing all of the princesses,” said senior Riley Guest.
The Crestview Knights started off last week with a 30-minute extension to the school day. The students will be staying an extra 30 minutes after school for 33 days to make up for the hours they have lost from the calamity days taken this winter.
“I don’t like the decision to have an extra 30 minutes onto the school day,” said senior Jon Young. “I would rather go for three Saturdays to get it over with then for 33 days.”
The Crestview Lady Knights track team tried to start off their season on Saturday at Versailles, but the meet was canceled due to the cold, snowy weather. They boys will start their season today against Fort Recovery and Continental and the girls will move into their second meet.
