Sheriff seeking info on rural burglary

Van Wert County Sheriff Thomas M. Riggenbach said Thursday that deputies are investigating a residential burglary.
Sheriff Riggenbach reported that, on Tuesday April 8, an unknown number of suspects forced entry into a Tully Township residence. The sheriff said the burglary occurred during the daytime hours, sometime between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., and also advised that evidence recovered at the scene is being forwarded to the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the Ohio Attorney General’s Office’s crime lab, for examination.
Sheriff Riggenbach is asking that anyone who may have seen any suspicious vehicle or pedestrian activity during the time mentioned above or who has information about this crime, to contact the Van Wert County Sheriff’s Office.
