VW Council on Aging provides legal help

VW County Council on Aging information

The Van Wert County Council on Aging will have Rebecca Steinhouser, a representative from Legal Aid of Northwest Ohio, available to help area seniors with legal questions on Friday, May 2.  Limited appointments are available for one half hour each.

Steinhouser has 15 years of experience with Legal Aid and specializes in elder law. Those who would like an appointment should call the Council on Aging at 419.238.5011.

Following the appointments at 11 a.m., Steinhouser will be doing an informational session on the “Affordable Care Act.” For those interested in attending this informational session who are at least 60 years of age, a lunch can be enjoyed during the informational session for $2 and must be preordered by 3 p.m. Thursday, May 1.
