Crestview girls’ basketball information

CONVOY – The 24th annual Lady Knights Basketball Camp will be held Monday through Wednesday, June 23-25, in the Crestview High School gymnasium. The camp will run from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. all three days.

The camp is for girls entering grades 4-8 next fall. Each girl needs to bring a good pair of basketball shoes to change into once she gets to the gym. Girls should also bring a towel, shorts, and a light shirt each day, as well as a sack lunch and drink. Lunch break will be from 11:30-noon each day, and a refrigerator will be provided to store lunches and drinks in.

Each camper will receive individual attention and will participate in daily intra-camp games. Every participant will work on offensive and defensive drills and game situations, and attention will be placed on the following fundamentals: passing, dribbling, rebounding, shooting, man-to-man defense, movement without the ball, pivoting, team defense and screening.

Cost of the camp is $40, while a second family member can attend for $25. The fee, which covers registration and a camp t-shirt, must be turned in with the registration form (click here) by Friday, May 23.
