Scott Ball Park reopening this Saturday

SCOTT — It’s been a decade since the Scott Ball Park has had baseball teams playing on its diamond, but this Saturday a grand reopening of the park will include local teams playing at the park.

Baseball games on the refurbished baseball field, which includes new roofs on the dugouts, as well as new siding on the park concession stand, will begin at 12:30 Saturday afternoon, with the second game scheduled for 1:30 p.m. A grand opening ceremony will be held at noon in the park.

Scott area residents are invited to come out to enjoy some baseball and plenty of community fellowship.
