WrenStock Music Fest date announced

WREN — Wrenway Park’s Wiffleball Warehouse, in association with Bill Miller’s Auto Sales in Decatur, Ind., is proud to present the second annual WrenStock Music Festival.
This year’s event will be held Saturday, June 14, rain or shine. The first band will begin at 4 p.m., with the gates opening at 3 p.m.
Presale tickets will be $10 and are available now at the Wren Restaurant, Bill Miller’s Auto Sales in Decatur, and from any Wiffleball Committee member. Tickets are $15 the day of the show. WrenStock is open to all ages, but participants will need a ticket to enter. Those planning to enter the beverage garden will be given a wristband – with proper ID. No carry-in beverages of any kind and no pets are permitted. Food concessions will be available. Bring own lawn chairs for event seating.
Section Ate starts out the day at 4 p.m. Playing a wide variety of dance/party cover tunes makes the band a favorite for area festivals, clubs and bars. The band includes Donn Dunno on keyboards, harmonica, and vocals; Bob Delgado on guitar, fiddle, and vocals; Dave Carr on drums and vocals; Tim Laukhuf on bass guitar and vocals and Jeff McIntosh on guitar.
Next in the lineup is LoudMouth Soup, a local band consisting of musicians from Decatur and Bluffton, Ind. Playing a wide variety of songs ranging from rock to pop to country from the 1970s through today, members include: Heather Helton, vocals; Drew Phegley, lead guitar; Bill Meyer, rhythm guitar; Mike Jennings, bass; and Jimmy Royal, drummer.
Rounding out the band lineup is 100 Proof. This band comes from Fort Wayne, Ind. The band consists of Al Rife on guitar and vocals, Tim Bates on drums and vocals, and Doug Mounsey on bass and vocals. They play rock songs from the ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s.
Proceeds from this event will help fund the 23rd annual Wiffleball Tournament in August during the Wren Homecoming festival.
