OJT employers feted

Businesses that participated in the OJT (On the Job Training) program at Van Wert High School were treated to lunch Friday in the Grand Lobby of the Niswonger Performing Arts Center. The goal of the program, said teacher Roland Alvarez, is to develop a partnership between VWHS and local businesses, is to provide students with the opportunity to learn worthwhile skills through community-based employment, while also receiving high school credit for participating.
