Dates set for Lady Cougar Youth Camp

Van Wert girls’ basketball information

The Van Wert girls’ basketball program will be holding its annual Lady Cougar Youth Camp June 17-20 at the Van Wert High School complex.  Sessions will run from 1-4 p.m. each day.  Van Wert coaches will provide instruction, with Lady Cougar players also assisting.

The Lady Cougar Youth Camp is for girls from all areas schools who are entering grades 4-8 during the 2014-2015 school year. The camp emphasizes instruction on basketball fundamentals, and there will also be daily skills competitions and team play.

The cost for the four-day camp is $40, with any additional family members only costing $25.  The cost includes a t-shirt and additional camp gift for each girl. Team and individual awards will also be presented based on the results of the daily competitions.
