James Hasselswerth

James Hasselswerth, 67, of Van Wert, died at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at his residence.

He was born August 10, 1947, in Defiance, the son of the late Edward Hasselswerth and Lois C. Craig Wright. He married Sheri Hasselswerth, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include three children, Jennifer Hasselswerth and Rosy Hasselswerth, both of Billingham, Washington, and Abbey Hasselswerth of Los Angeles, California; a brother, Randy (Sherry) Craig of Van Wert; three sisters, Linda (Dave) Langstaff, Lynette Ross and Carla Taylor, all of Van Wert; and four grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 16, at 205 Bonnewitz Ave. in Van Wert.

There will be no visitation.
