BBBS Golf for Kids Sake coming in July

Big Brothers Big Sisters will host its 19th annual Golf for Kids’ Sake event on Friday, July 25, at Mercer County Elks Golf Course. Proceeds will benefit the numerous youth mentoring programs offered to children facing adversity in Mercer, Auglaize, and Van Wert counties.

The day starts with registration and a sacked lunch beginning at 11 a.m. and a shotgun start at noon.

During the event, participants will have the opportunity to purchase 50/50 tickets, raffle tickets, mulligans, and more. In addition, there is the possibility of winning $10,000, thanks to Grand Lake Eye Care for sponsoring the event’s hole-in-one prizes again this year.

After a round of 18 holes of golf with three of one’s closest friends and co-workers, a participant can enjoy a delicious catered dinner and an awards ceremony.
