Vernon Larry Brodbeck

Vernon Larry Brodbeck, 71, of Celina, died at 2:24 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, where he was a patient.

He was born February 2, 1943, in Celina, the son of the late Vernon Gerald and Helen (Harms) Brodbeck. On February 5, 1966, he married Nicholl “Nickie” (Holaday) Brodbeck, who survives in Celina.

Other survivors include two children, Vernon (Carrie) Brodbeck of Chickasaw and Michelle (Gary) Sharp of Neptune; six grandchildren; and three siblings, Bing (Kathy) Schmidt of Celina, Michelyn (Danny) Phillips of Livingston, Tennessee, and Max Brodbeck of Montezuma.

A brother, Hugh Brodbeck, also preceded him in death.

Memorial services will be conducted at the convenience of the family.

There will be no visitation.

Preferred memorials: Donor’s choice.
