Preschool gives books

The children of First United Methodist Church Preschool donated 121 books to The Mended Little Hearts Foundation in Columbus. The books will be given to children during their stay in hospitals for heart care treatment. FUMC Preschool participates in several mission offerings during the school year. In the past, the preschool’s chapel love offering has also been given to the local Angel Tree, Kids Against Hunger and Samaritan’s Purse. Preschool officials believe it is important for children to learn compassion for others and they do that through giving and praying for each cause.
