Richard G. Bridges

Richard G. “Rick” Bridges, 63, of Van Wert, died at 3:10 a.m. Sunday, June 22, 2014, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born August 22, 1950, in Lima, the son of the late Glenn and Hanna (Kozak) Bridges. On May 24, 1975, he married Angela Judith (Boyd) Bridges, who preceded him in death.

Survivors include four children, Abram Bridges, Amelia Bridges and Mikayla Bridges, all of Van Wert, and Tonyia Parker of South Vienna; two brothers; a sister; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A brother also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 28, at Good Shepard of the Nazarene Church in Van Wert, with the Revs. Stuart Wyatt and Dave Ridenour officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.

There will be no visitation.
