MP Lions set auction, ice cream social

MIDDLE POINT — The Middle Point Lions Club is preparing for its annual benefit auction and ice cream social.

The event will be held Friday, July 25, at the Middle Point Community Building.  The auction will start at 6 p.m. and food will be served starting at 5 that evening.

Items to be auctioned include new and used merchandise that have been donated by the community and area merchants.  Sandwiches, cold salads, pie, ice cream, and cold drinks will also be available.

Proceeds from the event will be used to support the many community activities of the club.
