By Catherine Kopack, Reporter
The Clever Clovers 4H Club had its seventh meeting on June 16, from 3-5 p.m. at Wee Care Day Care in Van Wert. The club began with the business meeting and listened to demonstrations.
Erin Richardson led the pledge. Alaina Arney did roll call and read the minutes. Erin Gemmer gave the financial report. Jamie Burenga reported on the good turn-out for the Food Pantry service project and read a thank you note from the Master Gardener’s for the club’s help at the Children’s Garden.
After the business meeting adjourned, the club broke into groups to clean the gym and cots at the day care. Snacks were provided by the Gemmer Family and Mrs. Markward.
The next meeting will be on June 30 to learn about a dairy barn. Members will meet at Grace Bible Church in Van Wert at 2:30 p.m. to travel to the dairy.
