Elks to have OSU season ticket raffle

Van Wert Elks Lodge 1197 is selling raffle tickets for a chance to win two season tickets for the Ohio State University football games (seven home games).

In addition to the two sets of tickets, the winner will receive one night’s stay at the Columbus Marriott Northwest in Dublin.

All proceeds from the raffle benefit the Ohio Elks Association state major project: the treatment of cerebral palsy.

Each year, Ohio Elks raise thousands of dollars that are then donated to treatment centers throughout the state to aid those with cerebral palsy.

For those interested, tickets can be purchased at the lodge or from the lodge cerebral palsy chairman, Jerry Mazur. Tickets are $5 each. The drawing will be held Saturday, August 26, at the Ohio Elks Association’s Fall Reunion in Dublin.
