Shane’s Crossing 5K run/walk date set

ROCKFORD — The 10th annual Shane’s Crossing 5K run/walk starts at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, July 19.  The race starts and ends at Shane’s Park, 705 W. Front St. in Rockford, and is part of the Mercer Health 5K Challenge countywide running series.

Race day registration and check in is from 7:30-8:30 a.m. at the shelter house in Shane’s Park, with a $12 race only registration fee. A limited quantity of shirts will be for sale on race day.
