Lois E. Owens

Lois E. Owens, 77, of Convoy, died at 7:05 a.m. Sunday, August 3, 2014, at her residence.

She was born August 20, 1936, in Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Otto G. and Ethel (Lee) Krugh. On May 20, 1956, she married Doyt L. Owens, who survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Cindy (Robert) Perkins of Convoy; one son, Scott D. Owens of Convoy; three grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Marjorie (Howard) Hoblet and Juanita (Norman) Christian, both of Convoy, and Joyce Owens of Van Wert; and three brothers-in-law, Ervin (Iva Lou) Owens of Van Wert, Marvin (Lenore) Owens of Monroeville, Indiana, and Wilmer Bowers of Convoy.

A brother, Glenn Krugh; one sister, Jean Bultemeier; and several in-laws, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 6, at Countryside Chapel United Methodist Church near Convoy, with the Rev. Wayne Karges officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

There will be no calling hours.

Preferred memorials: Countryside Chapel United Methodist Church or Community Health Professionals-Hospice.
