Ohio City to have concert in park tonight
Arts in the Park information
OHIO CITY — Arts in the Park and the Village of Ohio City will welcome the Shelby County Line Duo this evening. The group will be entertaining from 8-10 p.m. at Memorial Park on Main Street. Arts in the Park has free monthly performances of regional bands and solo acts with a laid-back campfire atmosphere. Organizers encourage area residents to bring chairs and fill up coolers for a great evening with good friends and great music.
The Shelby County Line Duo consists of Paul Luft of Versailles and Ben Tuttle of St. Marys. These young men are part of a four-piece country band called Shelby County Line. The other two members of the band are Cody Paul and Michael Molaskey, both from New Bremen. The band recently went to Nashville, Tennessee, in June of this year to record its first album, which will be released in the middle of August. They are currently Nashville recording artists, recently signing with Playback Records.
Shelby County Line plays at local fairs, festivals, pubs, and private parties. The group has opened for Confederate Railroad and Clark Manson. More information on the band is available at its website at www.shelbycountyline.com, which includes links to social media and booking information.
The band is also looking to expand the area that it plays in. At the end of September the band will be traveling to Daytona, Florida, to play at Destination Daytona, sponsored by Harley Davidson and KiX country radio station.
