Raymond R. Bay
Raymond R. Bay, 63, of Van Wert, died at 9:48 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born July 22, 1952, in Port Clinton, the son of Dorothy Lucille (Stover) Snyder, who survives in Port Clinton, and the late Raymond N. Bay. On June 22, 1982, he married Cynthia K. (Kosta) Bay, who survives in Fremont.
Other survivors include three children, Raymond Joshua Bay of Churubusco, Indiana, Christopher Jonathan (Karen) Bay of Brownsburg, Indiana, and Sarah Beth (Nik) Landauer of Hillsboro, Oregon; four brothers, David Duby of Springfield, Missouri, John (Carolyn) Snyder, Joseph (Mary) Isbel and Matthew Snyder, all of Port Clinton; a sister, Katherine (Terry) Moore of Birmingham, Alabama; and three grandchildren, Alicia Armstrong, Christopher Michael Bay and Trever Alexander Bay, all of Port Clinton.
Raymond drove semis and was employed by Century Steps of Convoy for nine years, formerly worked for E. Conrad Trucking in Van Wert and drove for Dedicated Fleet Logistics of Van Wert the past 15 years.
He enjoyed being a disc jockey for weddings for about 20 years, was a former member of the Larks Radio Controlled Flying Club, was a former member of Wetzel Motorcycle Club, a former member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1120 in Van Wert, a former member of the Van Wert County Outdoorsman Association and formerly was a member of the Paulding Fish & Game Club. Ray is greatly missed by the many people that he touched.
To show the love that Ray has shown to those who remain, there will be a time of remembrance at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, August 24, at The Wild Hare restaurant, 903 W. Main St. in Van Wert. Please come and share a memory and one last meal with Ray.
There will be no visitation.
