Francis Pearl Saylor
Francis Pearl Saylor, 90, of Coconut Creek, Florida, and formerly of London, Kentucky, and Convoy, died at 12:40 p.m. Monday, August 18, 2014, at her daughter’s home in Coconut Creek.
She was born April 13, 1924, in Alva, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Arthur Asher and Marguarette (Lundy) Morse. On February 10, 1946, she married Levi Vernon Saylor Jr., who preceded her in death on June 21, 2008.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry V. (Vicki) Saylor of Van Wert and Ron (Donna) Saylor of Suffolk, Virginia; a daughter, Betty (Jerry) Luyben of Coconut Creek, Florida; one sister, Ethel Hamilton of Somerville, Tennessee; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Two children, Debra Lynn Saylor and Bob Morse; two brothers, Luther and Joe Morse; and four daughters, Flossie Morse, Flora Howard, Bertha Williams and Dorothy Hensley, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 22, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Phil DeLorme officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.
Calling hours are from 5-7 p.m. Friday, August 21, at the funeral home.
