Lancer volleyball team downs Antwerp

ANTWERP — The Lincolnview Lady Lancer volleyball team defeated the Antwerp Lady Archers in a non-league match played at Antwerp on Saturday. Lincolnview won in five games, 25-19, 20-25, 25-23, 27-29 and 15-11.

Leading servers for the Lancers were Baylee Neate, 15/15 with one ace; and Alana Williams, 14/14 with three aces.

Leading hitters for Lincolnview were Katie McClure, 30/38 with 12 kills; Ashton Bowersock, 23/28 with 10 kills; and Ashley Teman, 25/27, with 7 kills.

Devann Springer had 55 setting assists, while Grace Gorman had 17 digs.

Lincolnview’s varsity volleyball team is now 1-1 overall.

The Lancer junior varsity team lost to Antwerp in three games.

The next match for Lincolnview is today at home against Continental, starting at 5:30 p.m.
