Lancer v-ball team outlasts Ottoville

OTTOVILLE — The Lincolnview Lady Lancer volleyball team defeated Ottoville in five games in a non-conference match played Tuesday at Ottoville. Game scores were 25-22, 22-25, 19-25, 25-23 and 15-11.

Lincolnview’s varsity volleyball team is now 3-1 overall.

Top hitters for the Lancers were Katie McClure (33/39 with 24 kills), Ashton Bowersock (31/35 with 21 kills) and Ashley Teman (51/60, with 16 kills).

Devann Springer had 45 setting assists, while Grace Gorman had 14 defensive digs. Baylee Neate had two solo block kills, and Alana Williams went 12 for 12 in serving.

The Lincolnview junior varsity team lost to Ottoville in three games.

The next game for the Lancers is at 6 p.m. Thursday, September 4, at Kalida.
