BRYAN — The Van Wert Lady Cougar tennis team lost to Bryan 4-1 in a  non-conference match played Tuesday at Bryan.

Van Wert’s No. 1 singles player, Ali Moreland, was the only player to win her match, defeating Mikayla Borland 6-2, 6-0.

Other match scores are as follows:

• No. 2 singles – Hannah Stemen (VW) lost to Trista Savage (B) 6-2, 6-3
• No. 3 singles – Sydney Felger (VW) lost to AJ Breneman (B) 6-1, 6-2
• No. 1 doubles – Katie Trittschuh/Phoebe Eutsler (VW) lost to Kendra Wheeler/Elizabeth Hoene (B) 6-4, 6-3.
• No. 2 doubles – Jess Agler/Kali Agler (VW) lost to Mariah Stambaugh/Morgan Bauer (B) 6-2, 6-4
