VW volleyball team continues win streak

Van Wert volleyball information

The Van Wert Cougars took on Kalida in their fourth match of the season, as well as the Cougars’ home opener. Van Wert continued its winning streak with a four-game victory over Kalida by scores of 19-25, 25-19, 25-13 and 25-15.

The Cougars are now 4-0 on the season and will be back in action on Thursday at home when they take on Ottawa-Glandorf in their Western Buckeye League opening match.

The Cougar junior varsity team also defeated Kalida, in three games: 25-23, 22-25 & 25-17. The JVs are now 4-0 on the season. The freshman team lost in three games.
