Rockford plans community garage sale

ROCKFORD — The Rockford area fall communitywide garage sale will be held September 12-13. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Rockford Recreation Association.

Residents living in the Rockford area can register their sale for $10, while out-of-towners can purchase a vendor space to set up at Shanes Park for $15. Registration will include local advertising and printed map, addresses, and sale descriptions to be distributed the week of the sale.

The deadline to register a sale is September 5. For more information or to register, call 419.234.2830. Registrations can also be completed at the Rockford Village Office or the Rockford Carnegie Library during regular business hours.
