Cougar volleyball team beats Ottoville

Van Wert volleyball information

The Van Wert Cougars were back in action Tuesday night at home when they took on the Ottoville Big Green in their sixth game of the season.

Van Wert was able to defeat Ottoville in three games by scores of 25-23, 25-23 and 25-14. The varsity Cougars are now 5-1 on the season and will be back tonight when they travel to Lima to take on Shawnee.

The Van Wert junior varsity also defeated Ottoville in three games, 23 -25, 25-11 and 26-24. The JV team is also 5-1 on the season. The Van Wert freshmen team downed Wayne Trace in two games, 25-19 and 25-13.
