Van Wert golf team loses to Lima Bath

LIMA — Van Wert traveled to Hawthorne Hills to take on Western Buckeye League-leading Lima Bath and came out on the wrong end of a 148-181 score.

The first four golfers for Bath managed to break 40, with senior Evan Hall coming in at 1-under 35 to medal. Van Wert’s low man was senior Brandon Hernandez at 42.

The Cougars drop to 2-4 in the WBL and 3-4 overall. Van Wert returns to the road Monday at Celina.
