Cougar girls lose to Bath in WBL tennis

The Van Wert girls’ tennis team lost to Lima Bath 4-1 in a Western Buckeye League contest played on Thursday.

No. 1 singles player Ali Moreland was the only Cougar to win her match. Moreland defeated Graycee Smith 6-0, 6-0.

No. 2 singles – Hannah Stemen (VW) lost to Jordan Haller (B) 6-4, 6-2.
No. 3 singles – Sydney Felger (VW) lost to Kylee Morris (B) 6-3, 6-0.
No. 1 doubles – Phoebe Eutsler/Katie Trittschuh (VW) lost to Maddie Helmig/Dana Wieging (B) 6-3, 6-2.
No. 2 doubles – Kali Agler/Jess Agler (VW) lost to Katie Hardman/Abbie Houston (B) 4-6, 6-2, 6-4.

Bath is now 4-4 on the year, while the Cougars are 0-6, 0-4 in the WBL.
