Legion Riders announce 2nd Poker Run

The American Legion Riders’ second annual Poker Run will be held this Saturday, September 13, with registration starting at 10:30 a.m. and the first bike heading out at noon. Cost of the event is $15 for each biker, $20 for motorcycles with riders.

The poker run will be held at the American Legion Post, 631 W. Main St. in Van Wert. Prizes will be awarded after the ride, while there will also be a 50/50 raffle, silent auction, food, and fun.

Live music will also be provided by the band Decade, starting at 6 p.m., with a cover charge of $5 for those not participating on the poker run or in the Mega Money drawing.

This event is open to the public, with proceeds benefitting the American Legion Youth Scholarship Program.
