Republicans to host luncheon on Friday

The Van Wert County Republican Party will host a luncheon this Friday, September 12, at Willow Bend Country Club. Lunch service starts at 11:45 a.m., with the speaker, U.S. Representative Bob Latta, beginning at 12:15 that afternoon.

Congressman Latta will speak about bills pending before Congress and the leading issues facing that body this year and during the next term.

Next month, on Friday, October 10, State Senate President Keith Faber will be the featured speaker
