Cougar golfers 8th at Moeller Invitational

CELINA — The Cougar golf team traveled to the Mercer County Elks Golf Course to participate in the Jordan Moeller Invitational with 16 other teams.

The Cougars managed a 381, good for eighth place. Celina won the tournament with a score of 337. Leading the way for Van Wert were Brandon and Jared Hernandez, who shot 88 and 90, respectively. Rounding out the scoring for Van Wert was Daniel Magowan, with a 96; Jacob Covey, who shot 107; and Gabe Rollins, with a 108.

The Cougars travel to Wapakoneta Monday to finish out the Western Buckeye League regular season.
