Knight volleyball team downs LCC in 4

Crestview volleyball information

LIMA — The Crestview Lady Knights traveled to Lima Central Catholic, where they battled and came home with the big volleyball victory.  Scores were 25-21, 25-16, 24-26 and 25-18.

Crestview is now 9-1 overall and 1-1 in the Northwest Conference. The Knights will be back in action as the Lancers visit the Ray Etzler Gymnasium for a conference match-up on Thursday.

Leading the Knights were:

Serving — Haley Helm, 24/24 with 3 aces; Tianna Rager, 6 aces.

Hitting — Courtney Trigg, 17 kills; Megan Hartman, 12 kills.

Setting — Mackenzie Riggenbach, 17 assists; Brady Guest, 15 assists

Digs — Rager, 18; Riggenbach, 11.

Crestview’s junior varsity volleyball team was defeated in three games: 14-25, 25-23 and 27-29. The Knight JVs are 4-6 overall and 1-1 in conference play.
