This week Crestview started donating items for the annual United Way Day of Caring Food Drive.

“We hope to promote students to bring in items for the drive so we can compete against the Lancers,” said Principal Mike Biro.

The students started bringing in canned foods last week.

Last Friday the varsity football team hosted Bluffton.

Senior Justin Overmyer said, “The outcome of this game comes down to what team gives their best effort every down and who wants it more.”

The Knights came out on top with a ten-point difference and improve to 4-0 on the season. The team will be at Allen East tomorrow for a 7:30 p.m. start.

On Saturday, Sept. 20, the band traveled to Ottawa-Glandorf to compete against six schools and were rated a three out of five, with one being the best. They will be traveling to Grove to compete this Saturday.

The jv/varsity volleyball team hosted Van Wert on Tuesday.

“My expectations are high knowing that the Cougars will bring their best game and fill the stands with fans. I know what we are capable of and hope that we bring our game on Monday and come away with the win,” said Junior Tianna Rager.

Tonight the Lady Knights host Spencerville at 5:30 pm. This Saturday the ladies will be hosting the Lady Knight Invite including Celina, Edison, Fort Recovery, Marion Local, Old Fort, Ottawa-Glandorf, and St. Paul.
