Lincolnview cross country information

EDGERTON — The Lincolnview Lancer cross country teams traveled to Edgerton on Saturday to compete in the Edgerton Invitational.

The Lancers won three of the four races on the day. Both junior high teams came away team champions and the high school boys defeated a very strong Fayette team to win the boys’ meet.

The Lancer boys were led by individual champion Bayley Tow, who won the meet and nearly broke his own school record, running in 16:13. Alex Rodriguez placed seventh, Trevor Neate placed eighth, Tracey West placed 12th and Colton Snyder was 16th.

The Lancers scored only 44 points to win the meet. This is the sixth meet the Lancers boys have won this season.

The varsity girls placed fourth overall and were led by three top-25 finishers. Anna Gorman placed 12th, Abbie Enyart was 13th, and Alena Looser finished in 25th place.

The Lancers will end the regular season Thursday at the Coldwater Invitational before returning to action at the conference meet on October 11.
