Norwalk St. Paul wins Fricker’s Invite

Fricker’s Lady Knight Invitational

CONVOY–The 14th annual Fricker’s Lady Knight Volleyball Invitational was held Saturday with the Norwalk St. Paul Flyers coming away as the champion of the eight-team field by defeating the Ottawa-Glandorf Titans in three games. St. Paul defeated Fort Recovery and Edison to reach the championship game, while Ottawa-Glandorf defeated Marion Local and Crestview to finish as runner-up.

Other participants in the tournament included Celina and Old Fort.

The Fricker’s Lady Knight Invite All-Tourney team includes Shannon Ott (Edison); Mackenzie Riggenbach and Megan Hartman (Crestview); Anna Bellman and Olivia Hermiller (Ottawa-Glandorf); and Sam Reer (St. Paul). Kaeleigh Stang of St. Paul was named tournament MVP.
