VW SWCD sets annual meeting date

The Van Wert Soil & Water Conservation District’s 65th Annual Meeting is just around the corner.  It will be held Tuesday, December 2, in the Cup & Saucer restaurant at Vantage Career Center, 818 N. Franklin Street in Van Wert.

An election will be held to elect one member of the Board of Supervisors. Running for the position are  David Kemler of Van Wert, and Chris Vorst of Middle Point. Registration and voting will take place from 5:30-6 p.m.

Dinner catered by Elegant Beginnings Catering will begin at 6 that evening, with a program to begin at 7p.m. at which time the district will be honoring the “Conservation of the Year” recipient and the scholarship award recipient, while a conservation activity report will also be presented.
