A new season is upon us
By Craig Camp

The Crestview Knights are starting the second quarter of the school year. This past weekend, Crestview had another successful high school musical. The Knight’s basketball team is starting their season with high expectations after a previous undefeated season. The Lady Knights are at the beginning of their season as well looking to get off on the right foot.
The boys’ basketball team has begun practice for a great season, hoping to earn another shot at the state championship. Connor Lautzenheiser, a junior on the varsity team said, “I plan on us winning the state title again.” Not only does the team have expectations but also the school does.
The Lady Knights are starting their season this week as well. With multiple senior leaders, the team is looking forward to a great season. “We have great expectations that we hope to achieve. We all want to go to state,” said junior Emily Bauer. Like the boys’ team, the Lady Knights want the opportunity to go to the state championship.
“Shrek the Musical” couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Friday and Saturday night the seats were filled and everything went as planned. Each night there was a roar from the audience which boosted the cast’s confidence in the show. Senior Bella Chorvas, playing the part of Fiona, commented on the performance, “The musical went fantastic, I couldn’t have asked for a better cast to end my senior musical.” Everyone loved the show and the students did an excellent job.
With just over a quarter of the year finished, the musical was a huge success, and basketball season is getting started. We’re looking forward to another great year.
