Grandstaff signs letter
Crestview cross country standout Mycah Grandstaff (seated, center) signed an official letter of intent to run cross country and track at Grand Valley State University, an NCAA Division II athletic program. Grandstaff has been an integral part of the success of the Crestview cross country and track programs. His cross country accomplishments include selection to the all-district and all-regional teams and being a state qualifier in each of his four years as a runner. He was acknowledged as an All-Northwest Conference cross country runner in 2011, 2013, and 2014, with a First Team All-Ohio designation in 2013 and 2014. In the track arena, Grandstaff was a top 10 placer in the state track meet during 2013 and 2014 and is also a two-time All-Ohio competitor in track and field. His previous accomplishments include being an all-county track champion in multiple events, previous all-conference champion in the 3200-meter run, and a previous district champion and record breaker in the 3200-meter run. Currently, Grandstaff runs for coaches Jeff Bagley (cross country) and James Lautzenheiser (track) at Crestview. (Crestview photo)
