VWCH Tip-Off Classic dates announced

The Van Wert County Hospital Boys’ Tip-Off Classic will be held Friday, December 5, and Saturday, December 6, at Van Wert High School.

The Lancers of Lincolnview and the Knights of Crestview will open up the basketball season on Friday at 6 p.m., while Van Wert and Wayne Trace play the second game at approximately 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday, December 6, the consolation game will be played at 6 that evening, with the championship game to follow.

Both nights are open sessions, with one ticket gaining admission to both games each evening. Pre-sale tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students. All tickets are $6 at the door.

Both the north and south gymnasium entrances will be used, with doors opening at 5:30 both nights. The gate profits from the tournament are divided equally between the four schools.
