10 arraigned in Common Pleas Court

A total of 10 people were arraigned in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court on Tuesday, while a person charged with violating his treatment in lieu of conviction program also appeared in court.

Those arraigned include the following:

Dan Neiford, 37, of Van Wert, pleaded not guilty to one count each of child endangering, a felony of the third degree, and illegal cultivation of marijuana, a fourth-degree felony offense. He was released on a personal surety bond and a pretrial conference was scheduled for 8 a.m. Wednesday, December 17.

Jordan Perl, 22, of Van Wert, entered a not guilty plea to a charge of grand theft, a felony of the third degree. He was released on a personal surety bond and a pretrial set for 8 a.m. Tuesday, December 23.

Rodney Adams, 21, of Van Wert, pleaded not guilty to two counts of trafficking in marijuana, both felonies of the fifth degree. He was released on a personal surety bond and will appear for a pretrial conference at 8 a.m. December 23.

Countez Kelly, 21, of Lima, entered a not guilty plea to a charge of possession of cocaine, a felony of the third degree. He was released on a personal surety bond and a pretrial conference scheduled for 8 a.m. December 17.

Lisa Couch, 46, of Van Wert, pleaded not guilty to a charge of domestic violence, a felony of the fourth degree because Couch has a previous misdemeanor domestic violence conviction. She was released on a personal surety bond, with a stipulation she have no contact with the alleged victim in the case, and a pretrial conference was set for 8 a.m. December 17.

Dion Kantner, 41, of Lima, entered a not guilty plea to a charge of trafficking in cocaine, and two counts of trafficking in a counterfeit controlled substance, with being a felony of the fourth degree. He was released on a personal surety bond and will appear for a pretrial conference at 8 a.m. December 23.

Natasha Bashore, 31, of Van Wert, pleaded not guilty to one count each of theft and forgery, each a felony of the fifth degree. She was released on a personal surety bond and a pretrial conference was scheduled for 8 a.m. December 17.

Jonathon Mattix, 27, of Van Wert, entered a not guilty plea to a charge of failure to register as a sex offender, a fourth-degree felony offense. He was released on a personal surety bond and a pretrial conference was set for 8 a.m. December 17.

David Boff Jr., 22, of Van Wert, pleaded not guilty to a charge of failure to register as a sex offender, a fourth-degree felony. He was released on a personal surety bond and will appear for a pretrial conference at 8 a.m. December 23.

Charles Myers IV, 28, of Willshire, entered a not guilty plea to one count of trafficking in drugs, and aggravated trafficking in drugs, each a felony of the fourth degree. He was released on a personal surety bond and a pretrial conference was scheduled for 8 a.m. December 17.

Also Tuesday, Michael Sparrow, 23, of Delphos, admitted to violating his treatment in lieu of conviction programs by having several positive drug tests. Judge Charles D. Steele then ordered a guilty finding to his charges of breaking and entering and safecracking and a presentencing investigation, and scheduled sentencing for 9 a.m. December 17.
