Lady Lancers beat Perry by 50 points

The Lincolnview Lady Lancers had no problem with Lima Perry, defeating the Lady Commodores 72-22 in a non-conference game played Tuesday at Lincolnview.

The Lancers had four players in double figures, led by Ashton Bowersock’s 18 points. Hannah McCleery scored 15 points, Julia Thatcher had 14 points, while Kaitlyn Wendel added 13 points for Lincolnview.

The Lancers’ big quarter was the first, when they outscored Perry 23-3 to take a 20-point lead. The halftime score was 37-7, while Lincolnview was up by 39 points, 53-14, at the three-quarter mark.

The Lady Lancers made 29 of 52 field goal attempts (55 percent), including 4 of 6 three-pointers (66.7 percent). Lincolnview was 10 of 15 at the free throw line (66.7 percent).

The Lady Commodores were held at 9 of 45 shooting from the field (20 percent), including 0 for 9 from three-point range. Perry was 4 of 10 from the free-throw line (40 percent).

Lincolnview had the edge in rebounding, 33-25, while the Lancers had one more turnover, 12-11, than Perry.
