Sue Ann Gallaway

Sue Ann Gallaway, 68, of Van Wert, died at 6:32 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at her residence.

She was born August 29, 1946, in Van Wert, the daughter of Lloyd D. and Marjorie E. (Kampf) Oechsle, who both preceded her in death. On February 28, 1965, she married James Gallaway, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include three children, Angela (John Marquez) Gallaway and Ashley Gallaway, both of Van Wert, and John Gallaway of Douglasville, Georgia; a brother, Paul G. (Joyce) Oechsle of Convoy; and five grandchildren, Rylie Gallaway, Jimmy Gallaway, Anna Marquez, Reyna Marquez and Jace Marquez.

Mrs. Gallaway had worked at Central Insurance Companies in Van Wert for 43 years. She was a member of St. Paul’s Reformed Church in America near Ohio City, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, December 29, at Gearhart-Jurczyk Funeral Home in Convoy, with the Rev. Jim Compton officiating. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
