VW bowlers lose to LCC, Temple Christian

The Van Wert boys’ bowling team lost to a very strong Lima Central Catholic team, while the girls lost to Lima Temple Christian in matches played on Tuesday.

The Cougar boys lost 2,955-2,825. Individual Van Wert scores are as follows: Joey Kinner, 165; Caleb Fetzer, 204 and 214; Gabe Rollins, 166 and 244; Tyler Ruger, 192 and 208; Colton Deschner, 180 and 189; and Steele Stabler, 215.

The Cougars are now 2-2 on the year.

The Van Wert girls lost to the Pioneers 2,122 to 1,838. Scoring for the Lady Cougars is as follows: Alisha Mills, 92; Caitlin Ireland, 108 and 144; Kiara Lamb, 106; Sarah Linser, 102; Dayna Gay, 155 and 150; Cloey Spry, 132; Aneesah Youtsey, 121; and Ashley Mathews, 101.
