Lisle L. Eichenauer

Lisle L. Eichenauer, 88, of Celina, died at 5:50 a.m. Monday, January 5, 2015, at the Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford, where he had been a patient for the past three months.

He was born March 1, 1926, in Mercer County, the son of Roy and Ivy (Albin) Eichenauer, who both preceded him in death. On October 31, 1948, he married Dorothy L. (Rhoades) Eichenauer, who died September 28, 1989.

Survivors include two children, Jerrold (Sue) Eichenauer of Celina and Kathy (Mark) Mason of Huntington, Indiana; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A grandchild, Gabriel Mason; two brothers, Clifford and Kenneth Eichenauer; and one sister, Florence Wurster, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, January 8, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, with Pastor Dave Souers officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.

Calling hours are from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
